Last night I was finishing the blocks for a quilt I am making for a class I'm taking and realized I hadn't cut out enough for the last four blocks. Well, I got to the last one and I had to piece a 1 1/2" x 8 1/2" strip. I had to make it in 4 pieces. Thanks to my mentor's wonderful technique, you can't even tell it's been pieced. I'm so proud of myself! :-D

Did I see something about that technique on this board? It sounds familiar, but may have it confused with something similar.

I know how you felt! I had to do the same thing when I made my DD scrub top quilt. Luckily the prints blended well enough to hide the extra seams. Doesn't it feel good to make it work!!

Have done the same thing ... thinking oh please let this be enough!! Then you find a scrap that fell behind the table (happy dance) :)
    Glad it worked!
