never thought my son would learn to

Swim so early in his life. I am so proud of him! He just swam across the deep end of the pool, took a breathe, and swam to the bottom of the deep end and got the thermometer for me. How cool is that? And at 3-1/2 years old woohoo that's my boy :)

last year we got him in ISR classes, he was 2 1/2 and these classes are for survival. She taught him how to float, swim, float and to get himself out of the water, if he were ever to fall in without us around. The final test was for him to go in fully clothed in summer and then again in winter clothes...shoes, socks, shirt, pants and coat. He did great. He went under and then immediately came up floating with a smile on his face. NOW, he is able to swim, dive and jump in our pool. We are so greatful for the ISR classes and added safety we also put a babyguard gate around our pool. this is always up unless we are swimming. He floats better then I do hahaha

What a guy that can do so well so young! I am impressed and very happy, because I feel it is so important for the young ones to learn to swim. Never know when it may save their life! Congratulations on a job well done Mom.
