Just got an email that they have 100% polyester thread, size 70/3 made especially for Long Arm quilting. I'm not a long armer so I don't know if it's good or bad...just passing on the information.

I just saw that too. Wonder if it would be good for Machine quilting on our "regular" machines?

Sounds rather fine to me - is that the equivalent of Bottom Line?

That seems awfully fine to me too. Bottom line is 60wt. Although with the 70wt being 3 ply, it may be about the same.

Very thin and very strong is good. You can make all kinds of patterns and backtrackings, and not see the little bloopers as much as with the normal, but heavier, threads.
