I couldn't figure out how to "quote" everyone but DITTO
October was my first swap, I went and read the Secret Pal rules and the Generic board rules on swaps, I keep up with the board everyday, and I think you do a great job!! I haven't heard or read of any rules that are unreasonable, lol the not spending more than 10, for me it is easy, cause I have so much stuff "in stock" so to speak, that the only things I had to "buy" were the "personal" stuff. Of course once my stock runs out then my swap packages will get smaller because I will STILL stick to the $10 rule. you should only quit hosting if you no longer enjoy it, not because of negativity.
BTW will you be at the Houston Quilt Show the weekend of 11/4? imjustme and I will be there on Saturday, would love to meet anyone from the board that is going to be there.

I'm signing up for this one too. I really appreciate the fact that you're hostessing, and I'm sad that you're not planning on hosting. October was my first time swapping and I had SO MUCH FUN! I think everything in the rules is reasonable too.

I just signed up for this swap. Only my 2nd one....I have my October package ready to go other than adding a little something sweet. Suzanne I do hope that you reconsider as this is a great way to network and I agree with everyone else that we shouldn't let the bad 5% ruin it for everyone else. I too would like to step up to fill holes when someone does not receive their surprise. So I hope you think about it some more and change your mind!

Okay, ya'll talked me into it. I will stay. I absolutely LOVE doing this swap and I don't want anyone to feel sorry I didn't get a squishy. I wanted to make sure everyone that signed up received one, so no more sending me PM's asking for my address <3.

I still have 2 days of a garage sale to do and finish up my table runner for another swap.

Love you all!
Suzanne
