The se400 is capable of hooking to the computer I have the se350 and LOVE it it is so easy to use and I have not found the hoop to be to small for any of my projects!

As I said, I have the 350.. and my only regret ( which I thought this machine had , but didn't ) is that I do not have a port to connect the computer directly to the machine.... other than that, I love mine.......
