Do you collect the Better Homes & Gardens old cook books? Let's Chit Chat

I have been organizing my cookbooks by types and found out that I have some duplicate ones.

I don't collect BHG in particular, but I do have quite a collection of cookbooks. Actually one of my goals this year is to clear out a bunch of them.

I had one that someone borrowed and never returned all I remember is that it had a recipe for Sardies(SP) pastry. If you decide to sell the duplicates will you be posting it on the board?

One of my swap partners and I swapped Cookbooks! That was really neat to get one from where she lived and vice versa! She asked if we could do a cookbook swap, and think they said ok, but that was few months ago!

I don't have a Better Homes and Garden one, but I have an old grange cookbook from the late 1930s.
It's almost unusable because several of the recipes have an ingredient list that is impossible to use nowadays.
such as "soften 5cents worth of butter" etc.

Apparently I have 3 Better Homes cook books along with a slew of others. I collect really old cook books. I also love the fund raiser type. You know the ones, an organization collects recipes for then publishes and sells.

I like the fundraiser ones, they use regular ingredients.
