Hello everyone!
I find that sewing in a motor home isn't nearly as fun as in my sewing room at home! But, It can be done! On nice days, I set up outside on the patio - that makes a great sewing room! We spent 3 months in Port Aransas and are now in Mission for a month before heading back to CO and home.

Welcome to this site. I live in Corpus Christi. Welcome to Texas. I guess a motor home doesn't have quite the space that your home would, but it is nice to know that you can quilt wherever you go.

Welcome! I am from Texas and in Port Aransas frequently. I have found a great Quilt As You Go technique that I have begun using while we travel. You may already know about it.

By the way, Colorado is lovely. We go rock hunting and vacationing there.

I looked at the web-site you offered and it looks interresting. This summer we will be doing some traveling and I could do a quilt like that once I had the blocks pieced. Thanks.

Thanks for the idea - quilt as you go would definitely be easier to do in the motor home!! I may have to try one next winter when we head for Port A again!
