I just viewed your quilt, Joy. It is absolutely beautiful! Were your strips 6 1/2 inches long and 2 1/2 inched wide? :)

Hello everyone! My name is Bonita and I am a new member. I just retired last May to care for my mother until she passed away. I started my first quilt last September and have been taking classes to learn different patterns and techniques. I have enjoyed this newsletter. I am from Indiana.

I live north of Danville, In. It's nice to hear from someone else from Indiana. Have you quilted for a while?

Thank you, Bonita, for your kind words re my quilt... yes you have the correct measurements.... I have seen a photo of another one recently and it had four different colours whereas mine had three, and the way it was set up there was only one colour going zig zag up the quilt... so the pieces must have been longer than six and a half inches.... what do you think? Joy.
