Y'all are absolutely no help with my quilt addiction!!

So, does anyone know of any quilt shops in the Apalachicola and Eastpoint area of Florida? I will be on St. George Island in August and would love to visit a quilt shop (or two!) while I was there!

Thanks!

My son managed a gas station on St George Island a year ago! cool that you are going there, send us pics OK? he didn't take any. He is in Ohio now. He wouldn't know a thing about quilt shops so can't help you with that one.

St. George Island is on the panhandle of Florida, just west of the curve as florida turns south!

Some pictures of St. George Island when we went 2 years ago!

I've been in the two in Crestview and buy the two times a yr we go thru. Small, quaint but nice selection for the size of the area.

well, let's see, the Joanns in Pensacola is supposed to be pretty good and there's another place there the name of which is totally escaping me for now :x ... something that makes you think it's a drugstore only it isn't - it's a fabric place... also Quilt Corner 805 E. Gadsden st....

in Foley Al is Lacy's - 1500 bolts! - been there - it's fantastic
904 N McKenzie 251-943-4302

and right north of there on 59 in Summerdale, AL is Fabric by the Pound where you can spend lots and lots and lots of time and money
251-989-6505
if you do go there, watch the selvages because he has Kaufman, Michael Miller, P&B etc - he also has $2.00 stuff from Walmart - everything is the same price - last I was there that was $4.29 a yard..
