I'm going to handquilt this quilt, the colors are purple, green and gold. I can't decide what color thread to use!

How about a cream colored thread?

I think it depends on what quilting pattern you are going to use. If it's the classic quilting (around each piece) that you are going to do, then I'd get all 4 colors and use each in accordance with the color patch. If you are going to do a fancier quilting pattern, I might go with a neutral beige. When I'm trying to decide, I take each spool and unwind about 2 or 3 yards and kind of lay it swirled on the top. One will probably stand out to you, and that's the one I'd choose. Good luck...

Light purple! It'll look nice on all the fabrics.

Why not find a varigated with your fabric colors? It would really give a unique look to your quilt.

I vote for the varigated too, it could be all of the colors or in shades of just one of them :D:D:D

If I were doing it I would use off white. (or cream) You did a nice job on this quilt.

Well, I think I would use a light green in the shade of the fabric you have used....
