Several of you have posted pictures of your quilt rooms lately and others have talked about working on their quilt rooms. I wanted to share a few pictures of mine with you too. We had our home built 2 1/2 years ago. The minute I found this floor plan I knew that I wanted the bonus room for my quilt room. For over a year while the house was being built and I was sewing away in a dark corner of our den in VA, I was dreaming about how I wanted this room to be. It is everything I ever wanted--and more. Thanks for letting me share it with you!

the reading and hand sewing area-sometimes my husband comes up here and watches TV in the evening to be with me

It is cozy and I LOVE to be in there. Even if I am not in the mood to sew, I love to just go in and read a quilt magazine or fondle fabric--and the next thing you know I have the inspiration for another project.
