This was a stop and go project for me but I finally finished the binding and completed it. I know it isn't perfect but I am satisfied. It is the tradewinds pattern and I used Bali Strips.

I plan on giving it to my dad for Christmas. He has Lewy Body dementia and I promised I would make him one and I don't think he has a lot of time left on this Earth.

I love it! I see nothing wrong with it, I think it's nicer than the one I've seen at my LQS... love the colours you've used!

Sorry to hear about your Dad. I'ts so hard when someone we love is going through some tough times.

Wow, I love this quilt. Batiks look so good in any quilt and the colours in this one are perfect. Your dad will love it.

That is gorgeous! And the view from the deck isn't half bad either. ;-)
Keep up the good work!

It's beautiful. Maybe you should consider giving it to your Dad now rather than waiting until Christmas? He could cherish just that much longer. Just a thought... ;)

Yeah! "Christmas in July" ! Gorgeous quilt - it needs to be used and appreciatel now, instead of stuck in a closet for months.

It's beautiful and we are often our own worst critic....I'm sure when your dad receives it, he will no doubt feel the love you've put in every stich!!
