Friends of a Feather was made for my parents as an anniversary gift. They are backyard birders. Missed it in the shot, but at the base of the tree is a bushy squirrel tail peeking out from behind.
I-Spy Hot Air Balloons was a baby quilt I made for a neighbor of my parents. Mom didn't think it was really a baby quilt but I thought it would grow with the baby. Oh well...
Kira's Dream was based on a dream a friend of mine had.
On the Road Again was a full size that I made for my folks camper. They planned to travel after they retired. (ended up raising a granddaughter instead) All the patches on the quilt were collected from the different places we traveled to when I was a kid. I had them on a jacket that I had out grown years ago.

I Spy balloons is a great idea, I've never seen that before. Little baby quilts are outgrown way too soon and bigger is good. I'm sure your folks love both the quilts you did for them and the last one sounds sentimental with memories with you using the patches.
