I found this great how-to for a small lone star using strip piecing :) I tried it and I'm very pleased with the results :)

I have a ruler bought eons ago called a Quick Star. Pretty much the same idea. But I like that its tiny and is done without the special ruler

Lost somewhere in the many moves unfortunately.It was Jinny Beyer fabric from the 80's , black, rust and cream print and solids to match. . I made the star and never finished. Maybe one day I will get around to making another.
