I have made these for years using a fat quarter, a strip of green fabric( rolled) and a roll of bathroom tissue. Just fold the fabric into the top hole, pin down inside the hole. Roll a 2x4 strip of green fabric (hiding the raw edges) and pin it in for the pumpkin stem. I just made one for Christmas using a fabric with holly in it and tucked a sprig of holly in the top.
