My very best friend in the world has her 90 yo Mom living with her. Her Mom has just started Dialysis last week and needed a Bag to bring her Snack and Blanket in with her. I am still playing with my longarm and this is fabric that I quilted using a leaf design and the bag which I made from it.

Love the bag

Have a question ? Do you long arm quilt before you sew the fabric into a bag ?

This was so nice of you to do for her. I love the colors and quilting.

Yes I do - someone on another group I belong to told me to use the "busy" fabric on the bottom and then put the backing on top - that way you can easily see the stitches and pattern. After I get done, I have a piece of quilted fabric 45" wide and however long!! I am finding lots of ways to use this fabric!! Oversized bags are a great way to consume this fabric (lol).

She was my Mothers best friend and I have long ago lost my Mom - but she has remained in my life as an "extra" Mom. I just love her to pieces!! I can not wait to send it to her.

I bet once the other patients see this bag, you'll be taking orders! Very nice and good work!

What a nice thing to do. The bag is great, it would make a nice diaper bag too.
