I had a couple of requests for a tutorial on mitered corners. I haven't done a tutorial before so hopefully this will work. I did want to mention that when putting several blocks together in my flower quilt with shadow box borders I kept the darker color on the top & left side & the lighter color on the bottom & rt side. It doesn't matter which side you choose as long as you are consistent throughout the quilt so that you get the shadow effect. Also I tried to keep most of my flowers going up (although there is no right or wrong way to do that...It's just what I chose to do). So I had to watch the direction I wanted my flowers to be before adding the shadow box borders. Hope this works

Your instructions are clear and to the point. Just as good as your block! Thank you.

That was great. Can you do one that shows squaring a block as that is the one thing I have problems with? Thanks for the lesson. Cathie
