Last January I hosted our first meet-and-greet for OR/WA board members. Since then, we've met several times, with a different quilter playing hostess each time. Our most recent get-together was this past Saturday at the home of 2Doods. We enjoyed great treats, fun conversation, and ooh'd and ahh'd over show-and-tells. And now there are the beginnings of conversation about doing a retreat sometime in the coming winter. It's been so much fun to meet others from the board and begin to develop these friendships in person. Try it in your area. It's lots of fun!

yes, I met some members of this board on September 7, 2010 in Shipshewana, Indiana and also have one set up for October 19, 2010 in Shipshewana, Indiana at Lolly's quilt shop, Yoders fabric etc. will be a fun day (lots of shops in that town)

also been talking to a few members about setting up a retreat but not sure where yet and when we get plans will let all of you know about it

Crafty? A meet and greet does not have to be at that retreat, does it? TY, Ruth

This sounds pretty cool! I might try to put one together for Northern Kentucky/Southern Ohio/Eastern Indiana.
