I made several last Christmas, only a lot simpler which I paired with ceramic cups and flavored teas or hot chocolate (for our choir members)

My DD made several with coffee cup prints, with just s bit of machine quilting. Then she added a cup, a tiny package of coffee and some other treats in a cute gift bag. Really a neat gift.

Adorable.....I'm wondering why they are so large, though?

Yes. I don't have an embroidery machine, but my machine has the alphabet and numbers.

Mine is about 6" x 9". No specific pattern. Just make whatever you want. Larger than a coaster and smaller than a placemat.

Yes they (there are 2 of them there) are magnetic. I bought these many years ago, but just recently saw them at a quilt shop in Milwaukee. White plastic now instead of wood. You could probably do a search of magnetic bobbin holders on line.

West Bend (about 30 miles north of Milwaukee). Are you also in Wisconsin and where?

To hold your drink as well as a snack like a couple cookies or a cupcake or such.

Love them! Is the little cupcake appliqued?

RE the bobbin holder. I recently purchased one and love it; they are called Grabbobbin. Mine is the white plastic as you described; yours looks nicer but at least this works.

I think it'd be neat to combine your design with the one w/ crused spices inside. Hmmm, I need a gift for guild Christmas party...
