One of the pieces of data that web pages can read, is what page you were on when you liked to a site (a 'referral'). That's how they know we came from QuiltingBoard.

They can read a number of different things, like which browser you're using, which version it is. Where you go to when you leave (if you click on a link to leave).

so, the board is about 2 - 3 yrs old. is someone here that age? or what? why would that information be relevant?

I've read threads that go back as far as '07. Thats the oldest I've seen so far.
