So glad to find this! Only last night I was trying to figure out how to make the Hunter's Star without templates! This is wonderful. Thank you!

Roolen, thank you so much for posting this. This block is the very block I had planned to make my next quilt with! You have made it very easy. I actually have that Companion Angle but have never used it. I will now! Many thanks.

What a brilliant way to do Hunter's Star. Thanks so much for a wonderful tutorial. I've tried this block a couple of ways and have been unhappy with the results. This looks like I will have success at last!
