This is one of the classes I took when I went to a quilting weekend 3 weeks ago. The picture makes it look orange but it isn't. The light colour is goldish peach colour and the dark is dark green, almost a forest green. I had a really good time.

It's still beautiful - even with the colors a bit off.

Yes it was kind of hard until I got the hang of it. It is by Deb Tucker and there was a special ruler for it.

Once you get the hang of it, it's very easy to make. You really do need the ruler and pattern to make it work though.

I have that ruler as well and saw the demo by Deb T. but I didn't take the class.......I have that as one of the next projects. Any tips or hints that you care to pass on?

Were you at the Sewing and Quilting Expo in Atlanta? I went and bought several rulers from Deb Tucker. I've been using my Wing Clipper and Tucker Trimmer this past week. I bought the Petite Rapid Fire Hunter's Star ruler. I'm looking forward to using it sometime soon.

    Beautiful job on your quilt!

There are several sites with the pattern, however the new ruler/template we are talking about makes it quicker and more accurate. Here is one site. But it does not use the ruler by Deb Tucker.

No I was at a weekend quilting show called Quilter's Pleasure Weekend in Cornwall Ontario. This was my 3rd or 4th year and I really look forward to it. The rooms are like a dormitory, very comfortable. It costs $111 a night at that includes all your meals. Then the classes are on top of that price. I love it!!
