I love this and the more I look at it the more I want to make
one in a larger version (much larger) like a wall hanging or so. |
Could I ask what the ruler is called so that I can order one?
|
I too love this! Thank you so much for sharing! It is very pretty!

Hi Tartan
What is the size of construction paper you have used? Thanks |
The construction paper was cut 3 inches wide and 8 inches long.
The 3 fabric strips were cut in the same dimensions and the bookmark was trimmed after completion. For the 2 toned effect of the top layer of the bookmark, I used Wonderunder to fuse two strips of fabric together. I then cut the slits in the 2 toned prepared strip, folded and stitched it on top of a third darker strip. I sewed around the edge and down the middle to keep everything in place and used my pinking shears to give it a fancy edge. |
Thanks
Hi Tartan
Thank you for your reply. |
Tartan, I wanted to thank you for posting this. It is on my bucket list because I collect bookmarks and this looks so cool! Hopefully, I will get some made in the coming year. :-)

I got the ruler when it came out and did a table runner and a bookmark. Now a year or more later I need to make a bookmark for someone who requested it and I can't remember how I did it.

Jamie, if you have the ruler I believe there is a video on youtube. The one I watched was in Spanish? but you can see the process. I did did mine how we were taught in school with scissors.
