I am having a little trouble with this. Are you quilting by hand? Do you have this quilt in a frame and using it on your machine? I am sorry, but it is not that clear to me.

Yes, I'm a hand-quilter, not machine quilter. I'm pretty lazy, I want to skip all the "steps" and just quilt.. so the quilt police are probably going nuts right now! |

I've watched the tut, and wondered how well it works for LARGE quilts - like queen & king - need lots of space, has anyone tried it for large quilts? how did it go???? Thanks |

Oh, BTW the pic of the frame looks like it would be simple to make from pvc etc...wonder how much materials would cost? ummmmm...might give it a go.

Size of quilt doesn't matter--the board needs to extend beyond the width of quilt for at least an inch. I have two sets of boards. Bed boards work fine. I covered mine with fabric. For a large quilt it would be easier if you had a friend help-one on each end. Also, a chair with casters is good. My suggestion is to try it with a wall or lab size quilt first.
