It's a quilt pic that I posted earlier, and several members had asked me how to make the quilt.

Is having so much stark white a part of the overall pattern when several are sewn together?

It's actually not stark white- If you look at the original pics of the quilt, you'll see I used off whites, and pale golds and pale greens. In the tute, my camera flash made those fabrics look very white.
