I was curious about that also. Does the cotton batting have to be like the one for the potato bag cooker so that the whole thing goes into the microwave.

Bilben this tute was great. I used an orphan Dresden Plate block for one side and it came out great. Good way to use orphan blocks!

Thank you so much for the great tutorial. I'm going to make a few of these for my son for this birthday. He loves to microwave leftover soup/chili/etc. and these will be perfect!!

I should add that I plan to make many. What a great gift. The tute was great. I had bought a pattern kit and it was not worth buying I found. So I had remembered the tutorial here and wow how much better.
