Thank you for such nice comments everyone!

As I said on page 9, I now think a more free-style all over design is the way to go. Any thoughts or ideas on this would be terrific!

I get the red x's too Nantie and another member just wrote to say she does too. Not sure what happened to the pics when the QB changed over. Clearly some folks can see them, which puzzles me. If you still would like to see them, I could email them to you if you PM me.

this thread is still alive and kicking, Lara!
i just posted a link to it to a thread that shows a GORGEOUS OBW that the person asked for quilting suggestions.
"And I guess I might have made a few mistakes.
But maybe that's exactly what it takes.
To get a little happy in this big sad world..."

WOW, these ideas are great! I just finished my OBW top and was looking for ideas. "Dixie_fried" linked to your post from mine where I was asking about suggestions for FMQing it. Thank you so much!!!

WOW and thanks. This will be so helpful when I finally get to my OBW--I already have the fabric.

So thrilled to see your designs, curious to how you do a design in paint, maybe a tutorial on how you do that if not to difficult to explain. Your designs are so neat and creative, also curious what size hexagon did you use for your template or do you use another method to scale your designs? Thanks again.
