I had this machine and it worked great for year and years. I used it for garment sewing, and it is still going great.

I had a Touch n Sew as my first sewing machine. It did not hold up as well as my Mom's Singers 201. Touch n Sew has plastic parts. A bummer.

We've got a T&S 778. It sews straight stitches and the black cam patterns great, however it self ejects the white double cams. I haven't had the time to figure that out.
Sadly just before we left IL I discovered that although the plastic running gears are still good, the cam drive gear is cracked.
    Oh well.

There is a Singer Touch & Sew in a cabinet at my FIL's house, ready for a garage sale. I looked at it, and thought it looked kind of fussy with the cams and odd bobbin. I know he used it a lot, but it has sat lonely for 8 years since he left the house. Is this something I need to grab? I grabbed the Pfaff 130, but it doesn't have a foot pedal.
