Steve, your find on this one, well it was a real blessing! The machine is fantastic. If my husband were still living, he would love working on something like that! The history really talks doesn't it?

Well, I have found one negative about this.... Unlike a regular treadle, because of the two slip pulleys, when you stop pedaling this machine it still runs till the energy is done or the handwheel is used to stop it. We have not tried to sew with her yet, because the under mechanisms are still a mess, but hopefully tonight!

VERY early tuck marker. I was told on another board that it was a German, but it marked Simanco. It is silver plated brass.
