Well, I have found one negative about this.... Unlike a regular treadle, because of the two slip pulleys, when you stop pedaling this machine it still runs till the energy is done or the handwheel is used to stop it. We have not tried to sew with her yet, because the under mechanisms are still a mess, but hopefully tonight!
