Something's fishy with that listing for the white Featherweight; the serial number doesn't make sense, and the owner claims it's from 1947. The white Featherweights were made in the 1960s.
I'll have to go back and check it out!
$385 doesn't sound good to me! The prices of featherweights have come down.

$385 isn't bad. The white ones (actually "celery") sell for more than the black ones.

But when it is put away in it's case and it's out of site I do think the pricetag is outrageous. So I am glad to hear the price is coming down for them. : )
I just did a quick search on ebay, and 2 FWs with 40 minutes to go each were at $167. Of course bidding may go up at the last minute, but I do find it interesting that they are nowhere near the 300-350 mark.
