Default 201 singer. Favor?

I did a stupid thing and my needle snapped of my 201. Is someone able to take a few pics of the bobbin case with the needle in the highest position?

I dont have another one to find the 'right' timing!

I tried to fix a purse for someone

Thanks so much.

Glad you found the problem. Making mistakes is one of the best ways to learn. Now that you know, you won't do it again.

201's are tough machines, takes alot to mess them up.

For future knowledge

All machines will time about the same. The point of the hook will be right behind the needle's eye when the lowest line on the needle bar (during the upswing) is at the "bushing" or the indicator. On the 201, there's an indicator mark that it will line up with.

There are photos here:

Note: the timing procedure I show on that page isn't strictly right. I need to shoot new pics, but it will show you where to check on the 201.
