Antique treadle question

Antique treadle question
What would be some some ideas or recommendations for listing to sell or looking to buy antique machines? I've checked Craig's list, local newspapers, Ebay, and consignment stores, and was wondering your opinions for best exposure whether for buying or selling. Or am I being too simplistic and is that too much of a generic question? Thanks for any input.

I think Craig's List is about the best for something the size of a treadle cabinet and machine. Unless a machine is really rare or unique in some way most people won't want to pay shipping on something that size. Even just the head of a machine can run $50 for shipping, quickly destroying any sense of getting a bargain on most machines. You can also see if there are any buy/sell groups on Facebook in your area.

My favorite machines...(not cheapest) have come from antique malls or antique stores where they were displayed very nicely...a few have come from ebay...buyers and collectors usually always check these places out. These places are not always available unless you are in a bigger city.
