Default Backwards machine ... funny

This E-bay ad caught my eye. Don't they realize they've got the head in backwards??

The front is probably missing or looks like H%$# and they are shamed to show it.

That is interesting - but it really looks like the draws are in backwards because the treadle is on the same side as the wheel.

I agree with quiltingcandy. The drawer assembly appear to have been separated from the cabinet at one time and put on backwards when reassembled. Drawers needs to be spun around 180 degrees and it would be correct I believe.

It's not sold, bidding doesn't end until the 27th.

Yes, it is the drawers, they need to be inserted from the other side, and the picture re-taken from the other side.

That is funny, but I agree if the machine is set up like that on purpose - could be for a left handed person! Or, whoever has the machine now has no clue as to what a sewing machine looks like or does! It would be hard to sit and treadle from that side - the bars would block your knees . . . and you'd have to use the HW in the opposite direction.
