She uses those long thin bobbins. My mom's first electric machine had these(I have it and it still sews) Are bobbins still available?

Yes someone left her in a old house and water came in on her and the cabinet looks good in the pictures but it is badly water damaged. I am hoping that Billy can put one of those pretty painted jobs on her. I would love to keep the original decals on her but they sure are in bad shape. they are the phoenix and the machine is a great machine. I don't think the decals can be bought and I do not know if they can be reproduce.

Yes she takes the long bobbins, and I was not sure how to get them out of the machine at first. I have sewed on her and she does great as long as I know how to push the peddle right. heheh

This machine is a perfect candidate for a repaint! I can not get the decals like came on the machine but I do have several designs I can make for it.

I cant wait to get my paws on it because the color you chose will be gorgeous!!
