Default I'm kind of in love with this machine

it's just so pretty:

The sad thing is i'm going to the FL TOGA this weekend, and i guess judging by a map i'll be driving by this county on the way. But i doubt i will be able to fit it in my rental...nor am i sure if id have any place for it at home. Can anyone who has this cabinet give me the dimensions? I assume my W&G treadle is smaller. (besides i thought i wanted a singer) but i love how everything matches and is so perfect pretty. wonder if it really runs as well as they say it does. I wonder how they got the belt to be blue and match. *sighs* My intention was not to be enabled but i wanted to share it.

It's pretty, and so refreshing to see a Craig's list add where the person knows what their talking about with regard to machine capabilities.

it does however fit my criteria of wanting a "pretty" machine. as much as i love TLC machines i want something that will look pretty out in the open too! :P

I don't think that's a standard cabinet, though the size looks good. If it's the same as the normal ones in size it should be about 36" long. Pretty machine and I love the blue belt to go with it! I wonder if they used leather dye for that?

i mean ive never taken a treadle apart before. I'm guilty of taking my W&G home all in one piece!! O__O but i drive an SUV and it wasnt a long trip... but i rented an economy car... SOOOO... i dont know how id get this to fit. granted i dont need a lot of luggage room (the only thing id be bringing other then a change of clothes or two, is my necchi to sell and maybe my featherweight). :/ i assume the legs can fit in the back seat, along with the table top... BUT those drawers.i don think those would fit... and id hate to buy just the machine... and then have to go hunting for a table to fit it?? :| hmmm...

Wow! What a lovely machine and a wonderful price. If that were anywhere near me, I'd rent a trailer if necessary to go get it. Wow!

i sent them an email, turns out their going to the TOGA that i am attending... only they are only going on fri and me on saturday! but said there is someone interested in the table and that if hes not interested in the machine i might be able to snag it. (that solves the fitting the treadle in the car problem) but leaves me with two problems... tracking down a table/legs... and how would i pick it up if we are going to be in different areas! oh noes. i shouldnt email people about things im interested in. i'll get suckered into it for sure. XD

FWIW, the drawers separate from the table top by usually just a few screws. It would be easy to put in an economy car. The irons can be unbolted, and the whole thing will lay flat, with just the drawer banks taking up a little more space.

I carry machines home in a Mustang. I've become very creative.

Now that's a neat machine...and only about 20 miles from my parent's home in Dade City--so very close to me when I'm there! Wow. Neat.
