I have a friend who has a Morse and she loves it. I've heard good things on here about them. Don't get too anxious to get rid of it.

I have a Morse 4300, it sews great, work horse. I had to do a lot of cleaning on mine. I got it for $20.00 locally. I have the book and all.

At our quilt guild auction, today, we sold a Morse, Admiral, in a cabinet for $30. It sewed beautifully and didn't have a manual. However, the drawers were stuffed with goodies from the original owner. The lady who purchased it was thrilled to get it. It is kind of the 1957 Chevrolet of sewing machines. You will have fun with it. No, it isn't junk for sure.

That is an outstanding cabinet. I've not seen one with the two drop leaves. Fabulous work surface. And if the machine is cleaned and serviced, you'll get many happy years of use out of it.
