Default Dressmaker Precision Delux

My semi weekly visit to Goodwill produced a new girl to add to my little collection of vintage sewing machines. I almost passed her up because she was in a plastic case that had a tag on it for $19.99. But thank goodness my curiousity got the better of me. With my senior citizen discount the cost was $17.99 plus the governor's share.

She is very clean, everything turns smoothly and the wiring and foot pedal looks pretty good. I asked my DD what we should name her and she suggested Peggy Sue because she is looks like a 50's gal. Oh yes, the bonus was the wooden spool of thread and the red spool thingys.

Peggy Sue or Oh Donna are perfect 50's names. Enjoy her.

Really sweet! She is basically the same machine as my new blue babies only wearing a different dress - she will sew beautifully for you!

Yes, she does sew well. I cleaned, oiled and plugged her in yesterday. I would like a blue baby also.
