Default Empty nester bedroom conversion.

Hello to all,

Boy the rain just will no stop. Any how I have managed to get a good start on the hobby/craft/sewing room. I have mounted the brackets and added the 1x10 shelving that will display 12 of my machines. I need to make and stain the 1x1 1/2" nosing on the shelves. I have an idea on how to conceal the exposed brackets and will address that project next week. I plan on having a couple heads in their cabinets on display also. I still need to bring my easel in from the shop in case the mood strikes to start a painting. I have a lot of arranging to do over the next few weeks and now the formal dining is ready to be just that-a place to dine . Well mother nature is dumping a lot of rain as I type. I think I have the life jackets ready-JIC!! Hope you enjoy the pictures. Chow for now.

Nice, I love all the space to work! I especially love the cutting table in the center so the machines in tables can butt up to the walls. I don't think I could feel safe at your ironing board though--too many machines overheard. I live in earthquake country tho!

Default Water, water, everywhere!!

I wanted to build a 96" water pipeline to California, but the EPA said no way, it can only be for OIL!

Looking good! There should be a way to take too much water from one area and bring it to drought stricken areas!

The ironing board is used away from the wall & is stored in the closet, earthquakes here all the time, but the soft substrate below us absorbs the shock. Sort of like living on a giant Sealy Serta-sleeper.
