I wish i can find an oldie to fix and repair. LOL My current find is a 'new' plastic wonder by Singer. LOL it's a Singer Advance 7244. So far I fixed the issue with it not being able to pick up the bobbin thread, now... *head desk* skipped stitches... i dislike plastic machines.

I much prefer the real Singers that I use daily that are 100+ years old and sew like a Singer should!

I actually prefer my older ladies they're less fussy and easier to fix than this new fangled Singer. I figured for $5.00 it wasn't too bad. My 'newest' oldie to the herd is a Husqvarna that is mostly mechanical but has some electronic components. I use it as a portable one because it's lighter than all my other machines. LOL My newest mechanical that I love to sew on is a mid 90's Bernette. It's all mechanical with like a single plastic panel in the back.
