I can tell you nothing but that is a very pretty machine. I've never heard of the name before. It is gorgeous though!

Lucky you. I know I've read about those machines but know/remember nothing about them. That is sure a beautiful machine. I'm sure there are some here that will be able to help or guide you further. Have you googled it? maybe ismacs or needlebar?

Jae,

I have 2 Frister & Rossmann handranks. I love them. They are so smooth. I take one to my historical treadle demonstrations. They are German machines and the manufacturer is Frister & Rossmann of Berlin Germany. The crank does appear to be geared.

Enjoy!

I don't know a thing about it, but I want it! I do know it is really nice looking and in great shape. I also know there is a Yahoo group Treadleon that could help you out a lot. Have fun with it while I drool.lol

I have a Frister & Rossmann handcrank, with mother of pearl inlay, snowflakes. They are great for piecing, and the stitch quality is great.
