Default Frister and Rossman handcrank attachment

I post these few pictures for the few F and R owners, or just fans. The F and R handcrank spins the machine 3 turns for every turn of the HC and reversing direction, like the Singer handcranks.
The HC assembly as been machined to match a boss like the Singers, but the boss was not on the head. But with two screws in stead of one the cranks stays in place without the need for a boss..

Now if I can find a needle, I may be ready to try some stitching. Anyone have any #'s for me on that?

Which model do you have? All I can think of is the cross reference charts on ismacs. There isn't any needle in the machine?

I've got a couple (slight rust) if you'd like one. Pm with address. Oh yeah, this needle would be for a TS.... Thanks Skip, didn't think to ask that.

If your Fand R is a transverse shuttle it will use a 12X1 or Boye #23 needle. You can find them on ebay.

Thanks all, it is indeed a transverse shuttle. my bad. I believe I have some 12x1s. Gotta dig a bit. It was missing the needle. Thanks for the offer, Cheskat, but I think I got this.

Ohh, you have found a modle with roses on. I am envious :- )

I hope the rough spots are possible to touch up with some new black paint.
