The Flying Man has arrived
My son finally was able to bring my Flying Man treadle machine, a Singer Model 15 clone, up to me from San Jose. He purchased it for me in San Jose a little over two years ago. There are a couple of places on the parlor cabinet where the trim is chipped off and some white paint had been dripped on on it. Love the face plate roses. It needs a treadle belt and some deep cleaning and oiling. Should be interesting to test drive/sew with it and see how it compares with a real Singer Model 15. It came with a box of attachments, cabinet keys (in Chinese) and a manual in English that says Shanghai, China on the back. Sorry for the last picture, could not figure how to remove a duplicate.

Very cool! I've seen a couple Chinese clones go by. The Chinese designers seem to favor much brighter decorations than the Japanese do.
I like the faceplate too, and the decorated stitch regulator cover.

I found this the last time I was looking for one of these.

Seems like they come in red and blue now, I don't think the blue is in this listing but it's in others.
I kinda want one.
