Geez, why don't I find any machines like this at that price near me? My dh would even like the second one since he is a "flying man". lol

That Standard machine has been around for a while. I checked my Clones From A to Z folder and found that exact same picture. I had saved it back in June of last year.

So either the seller has had no luck selling it, or someone else stole his picture.

I wouldn't mind having it but I think the price is a bit too high.

I'd pay $100 for either one of them - especially the first! Gorgeous decals!!

Wow - I love them both and would love to have a hand crank machine. Unfortunately, they are just too far away for me to even consider either one.

There's a guy here that has the dragon machine in handcrank. they bought it yrs ago in case the lights go out. It's new as in never used. it's as pretty as a new dime

Such beautiful machines. I do hope people take care of them.

I for one have had only bad experiences of anything made in China (quality-wise, although a couple of my former students were of pretty good quality) and wouldn't bother: The 15 clones made there are known to be of lesser quality (see any SM forum including this one).

They still make them, if you want a brand spankin' new one, but I wouldn't expect it to sew as nice as even a 100 year old Singer.
