Found the Lotus for my Bird's Eye Maple Cabinet
Here is the original post about what I should put in my new to me bird's eye maple cabinet.
http://www.quiltingboard.com/vintage-antique-machine-enthusiasts-f22/birds-eye-maple-singer-treadle-cabinet-t208731.html I took your suggestions to heart and looked for a Lotus. I found her on eBay last week for a buy it now price of $129.99. Waited 2 days before I took the plunge and bought it. So here she it. Not installed in the cabinet yet, just sitting there.

Thanks for all of your suggestions. She's perfect for the cabinet.

Dollyo,
Very nice machine, and cabinet. It would bennifit greatly from Skips Japan paint / shellac touch up too.
Question, do you know the the date of manufacture is? I only ask because I don't see a motor boss on the pillar and only the very earliest ones did not have that. I have a 1913 vintage 66-1 Red Eye that does have the motor boss.

Have you decided what to sew with it yet?
