Here's a dreamer on Ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/1925-vintage...item3aaf5c6d49
A dirty 1925 Singer 127 in a beat up cabinet for $1200? Wonder what my clean and shiny 1928 127 in a cabinet in excellent condition would go for?

Still not as useful as a sewing machine cabinet. But not completely stupid upcycle idea from the cabinet side. The chair that gave the parts though... http://sacramento.craigslist.org/art/5197405153.html

Funny how many of those are the same pattern. Shills to push the prices back up do you think? Because in the past few days almost every price has gone into reverse gear and none have left the sales sites. Except for that German Kenmore which got bought and dusted and relisted $100 higher and today a chair is added and so was $25 to the price. Which gives me the giggles but you have to have the series of ads there to get the effect.

I got several sisters (and one brother) that live less than 30 miles from where that machine is.
Ok - it did not quote the post - it's the older White that SteveH wants the bonnet to. I've been tempted for a long time to get an early White machine like that . . . .

Steve, the Singer (Post #4306 above) appears to be in very nice condition; HOWEVER, I agree with you 100% that it's priced way more than it's worth! The seller on that one has definitely been smoking wacky weed or sipping that Colorado Kool Aid! The other two -- well ------------------------??????????????? not me!
