Hmm - and you want how much?? .... oh but this one does have a light added ... guess that makes up for the missing plate?? .. how much???

Well if I just spray paint this all over with this speckly paint to make it look like a godzilla finish it will cover the imperfections then if I add a "newer" light and motor, I can say that it is now "improved"!

Those modifications may have been made back in the 1940s or 50s. There were a bunch of old treadle machines “electrified” and turned into portables back then.

Isn’t “Improved Family” the name that Singer gave to that model of machine?

You're right - the repaint could have been done then to 'update' it - looks like they made a new base for it

Practically a "I'm selling my car, here's a picture of my garage door" shot. I can't even guess what this one is

For some reason, I thought the 306 was a little "burlier" around the "midriff" - the lower pillar Could be though.

I like that “burlier around the midriff”! That could describe a lot of us objects....

I may be wrong, but here’s my Singer 306W24 for comparison....
