I did clear coat that machine Walter was playing with a few pages back. I covered warts pits and all. it went smooth with a bit of work. It worked as good as any and the guy that bought it picked it first out of 10 machines. Go figure.

Here is the pic of my beater 27. Before it was cleaned I did not know it had any decals left. I could not see them from the black gunk. It could use more work but I think I will sew with it like it is.[ATTACH=CONFIG]539036[/ATTACH]

Glenn it looks good. If it treadles as nice as that one I tried it would for sure be a keeper.
That old beat up 15-75 is still one I like to go to. I have an old Singer 115 with a hand crank I found and fixed that I love, too.
