Default help please

I got this compac sewing machine at a yard sale. Does anyone know anything about? I would like to try to find a manual for it as well.

looks like a 15 clone. Otherwise I can't help. Is there any type of serial/model number on it anywhere?

Agreed, it is a clone of the Singer 15. There are downloadable manuals available, try here (http://www.ismacs.net/singer_sewing_...ion-manual.pdf). Hopefully this will help you get started.

Your sewing machine looks a lot like my Sewmor. I did a lot of research on my machine and finally arrived at the conclusion that it is likely a "mutt" cloned from several machines, but possibly a Brother. Compare yours to mine. BTW, the knob on the left in front of the piller drops the feed dogs. My Sewmor is a workhorse and makes beautiful stitches.

I have a Compac 15 clone. It is powerful, quiet, and makes a great straight stitch. I hopeyou like yours as much as I like mine.

Thank you! It runs great but the screw on the top came loose and now the needle won't go up and down by the foot pedal. It does when you turn wheel though. I took to shop today. Can't wait to get it back

Thank you all
