Be sure to post this over in the vintage machine section for best responses.

Must have a model number on it somewhere, there are several sites where you can look them up.

Did you look up the serial number? I'm guessing in the 60's

Singer 327 or 328, Contact Singerco.com with the serial number and they can tell you exactly which model and when it was made. They also have manuals for most of their machines available as free downloads there.

Rodney's right, it's a 328 (the cam door means it's a 328, the 327 is just straight and ZZ). They were made from 1963 to 1965.

Looks much like the one I got for HS graduation in 1964. It survived many moves and much abuse before finally experiencing a bent needle bar.

Those are fun machines - easy to use and keep maintained - you can some times find more of those flat disks and have a lot of stitch patterns.

328K, I think. Looks similar to one my daughter got at a Goodwill store for me. A little loud, but otherwise a good machine.
